Voyah Dream 9 2026: price, specifications, range and launch timing

Voyah has scrapped a separate preorder presentation for the Dream 9. On September 5, 2026, the brand will instead reveal the flagship MPV's trims and preliminary prices immediately. Demo vehicles will begin arriving at Chinese dealerships the same day, allowing customers to inspect and test the car. Brand head Lu Fang said the decision was meant to avoid “excessive marketing hype” and let users judge the vehicle first.

How much could the Voyah Dream 9 cost?

The vehicle itself is anything but modest. The Dream 9 is positioned around the 500,000-yuan segment. This is only a pricing target for China; Voyah says it will disclose the preliminary price when preorders open.

Dream 9 specifications: up to 755 hp and 701 km of range

The plug-in hybrid combines a 1.5-liter turbo engine with two electric motors for a total output of 555 kW, or about 755 hp. Its battery has a capacity of 65 kWh, while Chinese certification data indicate up to 300 km of electric-only range on the WLTC cycle. The fully electric Dream 9 uses two motors with a combined 475 kW, or about 646 hp, plus a 119.6 kWh battery, rounded to 120 kWh in manufacturer materials, and up to 701 km on the CLTC cycle. Both powertrains use an 800-volt architecture and CATL batteries.

The body has grown only slightly compared with the familiar Dream. The new flagship measures 5325x1998x1823 mm with a 3200 mm wheelbase, while application data also list a version with a height of 1805 mm. The much larger change is the battery: the plug-in hybrid now uses a 65 kWh pack.

Huawei technology is another major focus. The Dream 9 is equipped with Qiankun ADS 5, a main 896-line dual-optical lidar and three solid-state sensors for blind-spot coverage. A similar four-lidar layout is already used by another Dongfeng-Huawei project, the Epicland X9. Voyah's wording about a “comprehensive L3 architecture” should for now be treated as a description of the technical foundation: the company has not yet detailed the full Dream 9 feature set or the conditions under which the driver could hand responsibility for driving to the system.

Voyah will name the actual Dream 9 versions and preliminary prices on September 5. A date for the full sales launch has not yet been announced; the manufacturer only points to the second half of 2026.
