Changan Nevo Q06: price, range and charging specifications

Changan has opened pre-orders in China for the new Nevo Q06, sold on its home market as the Qiyuan Q06, with a special early-order price of 147,900 yuan. The regular pre-sale price ranges from 149,900 to 191,900 yuan.

700 km and a 9-minute charge: Changan Nevo Q06 specifications

At this price, the Q06 brings technology that until recently was found mainly in more expensive segments. The electric Q06 uses an 800-volt SiC architecture and supports 6C charging: Changan says a 30-to-80% top-up takes 9 minutes. Maximum range reaches 700 km on the CLTC cycle. The line-up includes single-motor versions rated at 225 and 245 kW, plus a dual-motor version with a combined 330 kW, or about 449 hp.

Q06 dimensions and the Tianshu Pilot Ultra system

The Q06 measures 4837×1970×1670 mm, with a 2940 mm wheelbase. The model had already appeared on SPEEDME before pricing was announced: first its dimensions, lidar and Tianshu Pilot Ultra system were revealed, and later the editorial team saw the Q06 among the Qiyuan family at the Chengdu motor show. The technical specifications now have a concrete price point for the first time.

Up to 1600 km for the range-extender and 560 TOPS for Ultra

Buyers can choose between fully electric and range-extender hybrid versions. The latter are claimed to offer a combined range of up to 1600 km. Equipment includes front double-wishbone and rear five-link suspension and the Tianshu Pilot system. The Tianshu Pilot Ultra version adds a 256-line lidar and a computing platform rated at 560 TOPS.

11,079 Changan Q06 orders in the first two hours

Reaction to the pricing was immediate. Changan Qiyuan said it received 11,079 orders in the first two hours after pre-orders opened. Versions with Tianshu Pilot Ultra accounted for 53%, while more than 30% of customers chose the dual-motor configuration. These are figures published by the manufacturer, not confirmed vehicle registrations or sales.

When the Changan Nevo Q06 goes on sale

The next milestone is the official sales launch. Changan has previously said the Q06 will reach the market in September. That is when it will become clear whether the company keeps the current pre-sale prices or adjusts them before customer deliveries begin.
