Vinile, based in Maranello, has unveiled one of the most refined restomods of recent years: the Range Rover Classic Remastered. The Italian team has turned the 1970s British icon into a luxury object, fusing heritage design with modern technology. Only 15 examples will be built, each assembled by hand.

From the outside, the off-roader keeps its signature proportions but now wears cleaner surfacing, slender bumpers, and painstakingly finished bodywork. LED lighting and a three-dimensional grille lend a polished presence, while white-poplar inlays add a distinctly Italian flourish. The updates feel carefully judged, elevating the character rather than overwriting it.

The biggest transformation is inside. The cabin is trimmed in 45 square meters of Baxter leather and solid-wood panels that create a lounge-like ambiance. At the center sits a 10-inch display with Apple CarPlay, paired with a Focal audio system featuring 10 speakers and two subwoofers. The specification favors indulgent calm over utilitarian austerity, which suits the brief.

Under the hood is an updated 3.5-liter V8 rated at 205 hp, complemented by improved suspension and 16-inch wheels with wide tires. With prices starting at €310,000 (about $361,000), this Range Rover sits closer to an objet d’art than mere transportation.
