Fiat’s 600e has gained a new Icon trim for the UK market. As with the 600 Hybrid that added an Icon version in August, the 600e Icon slots between the entry-level (RED) and the range-topping La Prima. Priced at £31,535, it sits £1,500 above (RED) and £1,500 below La Prima. As with other 600e and 500e models, the Icon price includes Fiat’s own “E-Grant”, neatly positioning it in the sensible middle ground of the range.The 600e Icon’s equipment list includes 17-inch diamond-cut alloys, black-and-ivory fabric seats, front and rear parking sensors, a 180-degree reversing camera, a wireless smartphone charger, and built-in navigation on a 10.25-inch touchscreen. It’s a well-judged mix that adds desirability without overcomplicating the spec.This comes on top of the standard kit offered with the (RED) trim, which includes cruise control, automatic climate control, a synthetic-leather steering wheel, and keyless entry.
