The new 2026 Chevrolet Captiva EV is arriving on the Brazilian market. Locally, the electric crossover will be sold exclusively in the range-topping Premier trim with a special darkened finish that brings glossy black accents and a matching black company emblem. The blacked-out touches give it a sharper, more tailored look, while the single-trim approach points to a focused, upscale positioning.

Under the skin, the 2026 Captiva EV uses a single electric motor mounted on the front axle, rated at 201 hp and 310 Nm of torque. A 60 kWh battery supplies the system, delivering a driving range of 304 km (189 miles) on Brazil’s INMETRO cycle and up to 510 km (317 miles) under the CLTC standard. For daily use, that single-motor output should prove comfortably sufficient.

The Captiva EV comes in four exterior colors and two interior themes. Coverage includes a comprehensive warranty of 3 years or 100,000 km (62,137 miles), plus an 8-year or 160,000 km (99,420 miles) battery warranty. The restrained color palette and streamlined trims keep choices simple without undermining the premium feel.

In Brazil, the 2026 Chevrolet Captiva EV Premier is priced at 199,990 reais, or about $37,550 at the current exchange rate.
