Opel is broadening its locally built light-commercial lineup: Vivaro and Zafira with a Made in Türkiye badge are already rolling off the line and reaching dealers. The bet is obvious—offer practical machines built for work without overlooking family duties. Pricing stands as follows: Opel Zafira from 1,970,000 TL at promotional pricing, Vivaro City Van from 1,814,000 TL, and Vivaro Cargo from 1,490,000 TL.Production of the Zafira has started at the Tofas plant. Configured in an 8+1 layout, it’s pitched as a versatile choice for both businesses and families. Two trims are available—Edition Plus XL and Ultimate XL—and both pair a 2.2-liter Multijet engine with an 8-speed automatic. Even the Edition Plus XL reads convincingly for everyday use: dual sliding doors, keyless entry and start, a 10-inch digital cluster and 10-inch infotainment screen, an electronic parking brake, front and rear parking sensors, a 180-degree camera, power-folding heated mirrors, and wireless charging.Ultimate XL builds on that with a panoramic roof, 17-inch wheels, adaptive cruise with Stop&Go, a tailgate with opening glass, and an expanded active safety package; power sliding doors and a hands-free function are available as options. The spec leans toward comfort and assistance features that make long days behind the wheel easier.Vivaro comes in two formats—City Van and Cargo. The City Van (5+1), produced locally in Bursa, is offered with two equipment levels and two wheelbase options. The equipment list includes 10-inch displays, a rearview camera, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, parking sensors, automatic high-beam assist, and a suite of ADAS features. Powertrain pairings for the City Van are specified as follows: the L2 Ultimate uses a 2.2 Multijet with 150 hp and an automatic transmission, combined with fixed leather second-row seats; the L3 Ultimate XL features the same 2.2 Multijet with 150 hp and a manual gearbox, along with folding cloth seats in the second row. On paper, that mix underscores a practical brief with just enough flexibility for weekday tasks and weekend duties alike.
