BYD has sent the Dynasty-D prototype onto public roads—the future full-size flagship SUV it plans to reveal officially in the second quarter of 2026. The model had previously bowed as a concept at the Shanghai auto show, and while the production debut was initially expected earlier, the rollout was postponed to make the product more competitive in the fiercest corner of China’s market.As spy shots indicate, the Dynasty-D will keep its flagship stance and generous dimensions, with a LiDAR module on the roof. Even through camouflage, the styling comes through: narrow lighting, a confident front end, a single light element across the rear, flush door handles, and substantial wheels.
