Xpeng brings the P7+ (BEV/EREV) and G7 EREV to Europe in January, with 800 V tech, 5C charging and Turing chips, WLTP range up to 630 km BEV and 1,300 km EREV.

Xpeng has officially set the timeline for bringing two key newcomers to Europe—the P7+ sedan and the G7 crossover in EREV guise with a range extender. The roll-out is slated for early January: a presentation in China on January 8, followed by a launch in Belgium on January 9 as a gateway to the European market. For the brand, this is more than a range update; it is a showcase of the technological base it plans to compete with in Europe, and the sequence hints at a confident push.

Both models share a common digital backbone: three in-house Turing chips delivering a combined 2,250 TOPS, a clear nod to advanced driver-assistance and smart features. In a crowded EV field, that capability stands alongside range as a primary selling point.

The Xpeng P7+ will be offered in two formats: a pure BEV and an EREV. Under the CLTC cycle, the EREV promises up to 1,550 km in total, including 430 km on electric power alone, while the BEV targets up to 725 km. Converted to the more familiar WLTP, the authors expect roughly 1,300 km combined for the EREV and about 630 km for the BEV. Technically, the P7+ is built on an 800-volt architecture with a 49.2 kWh LFP battery supporting 5C charging; the battery pack is notably thin, which benefits aerodynamics and packaging. The cabin sticks to a minimalist, digital-first layout: a 15.6-inch center display, a 10.25-inch instrument cluster, extended ambient lighting, wireless charging, and a generous trunk.

The second debut is the Xpeng G7 EREV. The setup pairs a 1.5-liter turbo engine acting as a generator (148 hp) with a 218 kW (292 hp) electric motor, again on an 800 V architecture and a 55.8 kWh battery with 5C charging. According to CLTC, it can cover 430 km on electric power and 1,704 km in total, with rapid top-ups adding range quickly during charging.
