Mitsubishi fuels rumors of a Pajero comeback with a shadowy flagship SUV teaser tied to Ralliart. Boxy, body-on-frame proportions signal real off-road intent.

Mitsubishi has poured fuel on talk of a Pajero revival: toward the end of a corporate video, the silhouette of a new flagship SUV briefly appears. The vehicle is shown in shadow and paired with Ralliart, which comes across as a deliberate nod to the brand’s off-road and motorsport heritage.

As Tarantas News notes, the proportions don’t say “crossover.” A tall hood, upright lines, a more squared-off cabin and generous ground clearance point to serious off-road intent rather than another city-oriented SUV. In profile, the side steps and the stance suggest a body-on-frame layout, and the overall shape reads larger and boxier than most of today’s offerings.

The teaser also hints at classic Mitsubishi cues: vertical daytime running lights and a horizontal light strip. The front end partly echoes the Destinator for Southeast Asia, yet the body looks noticeably bulkier and taller, as if tailored for carrying loads and dealing with real rough terrain.
