Mitsubishi is expanding its 2026 Triton lineup with two special editions aimed at professional use and long-distance travel. These new accessory packages offer enhanced equipment at a moderate premium.

GLX-R: Focus on practicality and work

The GLX-R Special Edition with the Tradie Accessory Pack is designed for fleets and professionals who prioritize functionality and body protection. The package includes side steps, premium White Diamond paint, a tub liner, rubber floor mats, deflectors, and a matte hood protector. The sports bar has been removed, while a towing kit, typically an extra-cost option, is now standard. The premium over the regular version is $1250.

GSR: The touring version

The GSR Special Edition with the Touring Accessory Pack targets owners who travel across the country. For an additional $3000, buyers get a black nudge bar, deflectors, a matte hood protector, a rubber cargo bed mat, and a full towing kit. This enhances the model's off-road capability and practicality without any mechanical changes.

Technical specifications

Both versions are equipped with the same 2.4-liter bi-turbo diesel engine producing 150 kW and 470 Nm, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The new trims don't affect performance, but they make the model more appealing in terms of equipment.
