The United Arab Emirates is preparing for the debut of a new supercar called FLKON, the first project from a young brand aiming to carve out a place among the Middle East's exclusive manufacturers. The premiere is scheduled for February 15. In the meantime, the brand is releasing dark teasers hinting at a low-slung body, wide track, advanced aerodynamics, and a carbon fiber wing. The impression is reinforced by a manual transmission with a traditional "chitinous" gearshift—a clear signal that FLKON is betting on "pure" mechanics and driver-centric sensations.

The company claims collaboration with Bosch and TÜV SÜD, serious organizations for certification in Middle Eastern, European, and U.S. markets. This boosts confidence in the project, which has already secured 88 million dirhams (about 20 million euros) in investments. FLKON is offering up to 65% of its capital to new investors, targeting profitability within five years.

The teasers reveal a carbon fiber interior, a massive rear light bar, and a center-mounted exhaust, emphasizing the model's sporty focus. The manufacturer states it wants to restore the mechanical "purity" that cars have lost in the era of electrification, targeting true driving enthusiasts.

FLKON positions its upcoming supercar as a local answer to the UAE's affluent hypercar market, where Lamborghini, Bugatti, and Koenigsegg are familiar sights. Now, there's a chance for a homegrown prestige product.
