Mahindra has confirmed the launch of its new fully electric BE.07 crossover, set to hit the market in 2027. This model will be part of the Born Electric strategy, strengthening the brand's position in the rapidly growing electric vehicle segment.

The BE.07 is the production version of a concept first shown in 2022. It will be built on the modular INGLO platform, already used in the BE6 and XEV 9S models. While initially expected to debut in 2026, the timeline has officially been pushed to 2027.

Buyers will have several battery options ranging from 60 to 80 kWh. This flexibility allows for variations in range and performance depending on the configuration. For readers, this matters because it highlights Mahindra's focus on balancing performance and efficiency, a key consideration in the mass-market segment.

In terms of design, the BE.07 retains the futuristic elements of the concept: a dynamic silhouette, a digital cabin architecture with large displays, and minimal physical buttons. The model is expected to feature modern driver-assistance systems, connected services, and over-the-air updates.

For Mahindra, this model is a strategic move. Following the success of the BE6 and XEV 9S, the company aims to increase its share of the Indian EV market. Overall, the picture is straightforward: the BE.07 is positioned to become one of the most popular and technologically advanced SUVs in Mahindra's electric lineup.
