The first-generation Ford F-150 SVT Raptor has long been a cult classic, thanks to being the only Raptor with a naturally aspirated V8. However, this specific 2010 model, set to appear at the Mecum Glendale 2026 auction, has strayed far from its factory specifications.

Externally, this Tuxedo Black SuperCab looks nearly stock, with the original wheels and signature styling preserved. But under the hood lies a completely different character. Instead of the standard engine, it features a 6.6-liter V8 with an increased piston stroke and a Whipple supercharger, all built by Livernois Racing. The engine boasts forged internals, 1050 cc injectors, a modified camshaft, and other upgrades, resulting in 650 horsepower and 700 lb-ft of torque.

Power is delivered through a reinforced 6R80 automatic transmission with a Circle D torque converter and a Powertrax Grip Pro differential. The suspension has also been thoroughly reworked, featuring Fox 3.0 coilovers, high-efficiency rear shocks, Deaver leaf springs, and a reinforced driveshaft from HP Racing.

Around $75,000 has been invested in these modifications. Interestingly, on the used car market, such tuning projects rarely sell for more than standard versions, so the final price could be a pleasant surprise for the buyer.

The first Raptor is already considered a collector's model in its own right, and a well-built supercharged version with 650 horsepower represents a rare blend of classic appeal and extreme performance. If the bidding stays within reasonable limits, the new owner will acquire one of the most charismatic pickups of its era.
