Chery has unveiled the interior of its upcoming Exeed Sterra E05, a plug-in hybrid SUV set to launch in the second half of 2025. The model pairs a 1.5-litre turbocharged generator engine producing 115kW with a 32.659kWh battery, delivering up to 165km of pure electric range.
Inside, the E05 adopts a symmetrical design, with a digital instrument cluster for the driver, a dedicated passenger display, and a large floating centre touchscreen. Premium materials such as wood trim, metal accents, and leather upholstery enhance the cabin, while features like heated and ventilated seats, a «boss button» for the front passenger, and extra storage spaces improve comfort and practicality.
The SUV also integrates a laser radar system, 12 ultrasonic sensors, and multiple HD cameras. Measuring 4780mm in length with a 2800mm wheelbase, it offers a five-seat layout.
From a market perspective, the E05 blends premium-grade interior execution with practical hybrid efficiency, making it a strong contender in mid-size SUV segments worldwide — especially in regions where charging infrastructure remains patchy.
