Choosing the best car in an increasingly competitive market is a question being asked far beyond Europe. The Chinese brand Leapmotor has taken a significant step by opening its first research center outside China, located in Munich.

The new Leapmotor Europe Innovation Centre will focus on developing, designing, and adapting vehicles for European customers. This marks a key phase in the company's global expansion, as it has already been actively increasing its exports. At the opening, a new electric car was unveiled, which will enter the European market under the name B03X. The model is planned for sale in nearly 40 countries, highlighting the brand's serious ambitions.

Interestingly, Leapmotor is following an established trend: Munich has become a hub for Chinese automakers. Companies like Nio, Xpeng, Xiaomi, and Li Auto already operate there. The center itself is expected to be relatively compact, with around 100 employees. However, even such small teams can quickly adapt vehicles to meet local requirements and tastes.

Chinese brands are no longer just exporting cars—they are starting to play by European rules. This could significantly shift the market balance in the coming years.
