Bentley has announced a recall for a batch of 2026 Bentayga Speed SUVs in the US. The reason is an unexpected one: an error on the information label showing the vehicle’s permitted load. A total of 163 vehicles are affected. The issue concerns incorrect data on the tyre-pressure and loading label. The listed figures exceeded the vehicle’s actual capabilities, putting it out of compliance with US safety standard FMVSS 110. Bentley says the mistake was caused by a communication failure between internal departments. The vehicle itself remains mechanically sound, and the problem is purely informational. The recall covers Bentayga Speed models built from September to November 2025. This is the most powerful version of the model, using a V8 with up to 641 hp.Dealers will replace the labels free of charge. The procedure takes around 30 minutes, and owner notifications are due to begin in May 2026. Bentley has also revised its internal processes to help prevent similar errors in future.
