Hyundai has expanded the Santa Fe Hybrid line-up in Thailand with a new Inspiration version equipped with the HTRAC all-wheel-drive system. The crossover gets a 232 hp hybrid powertrain, revised equipment and a higher level of comfort, with a 50,000-baht premium over the previous top specification. The brand’s press office shared the details with SPEEDME.
The new Santa Fe Hybrid Inspiration is the first version of the model in the region to offer automatic AWD. HTRAC distributes torque between the axles according to road conditions, improving stability and handling. The model is aimed at buyers who want not only hybrid efficiency, but also more assured performance on difficult surfaces.
The hybrid system produces 232 hp and delivers quick response thanks to strong low-speed torque. The AWD version also adds an intelligent torque distribution system, making the vehicle more versatile.
The crossover receives 20-inch wheels, a Bose audio system with an amplifier, new exterior and interior colours, and the full Hyundai SmartSense safety suite.
The Santa Fe Hybrid has already drawn a strong market response and earned several international awards, including a five-star Euro NCAP rating and design prizes. The addition of an AWD version strengthens the model’s position in the midsize SUV segment.
In Thailand, the model is offered in three trim levels priced from 1.599 million to 1.799 million baht, with the new version sitting at the top of the range.
