Open-top phenomenon: Lamborghini caps its wildest V12 at just 15 cars

Lamborghini has unveiled the Fenomeno Roadster — the open-top version of its limited Few-Off model. According to the brand, this is the most exclusive and powerful open car in the lineup: only 15 examples will be built, so the newcomer is aimed at collectors rather than the mass market.

The Fenomeno Roadster gets a hybrid powertrain built around a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12. Combined system output is 1080 hp (795 kW). Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 2.4 seconds, and top speed exceeds 340 km/h. Fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions figures are still in the certification stage, so Lamborghini is not disclosing them.

The main focus of the recent Motor1 piece is on the cabin. The Fenomeno Roadster’s interior is built around the driver and the «feel like a pilot» philosophy: carbon fibre, digital interfaces, aircraft-inspired controls and broad personalisation options. The architecture comes from the Revuelto, but the styling is sharper and more focused on performance.

Lamborghini is showing how expensive supercar projects are shifting into the realm of collectible objects, where it is not just power and acceleration that matter, but also production volume, rarity and the ability to spec an almost bespoke car.
