Ford celebrates Expedition's 30th birthday — and the gift comes with a bill

Ford has revealed the price of the 30th Anniversary Package for the 2027 model year Expedition SUV. According to the brand's configurator, the package adds $7,975 to the sticker. This is not a standalone version but an option pack layered onto the range-topping Platinum trim.

The package marks 30 years of the Ford Expedition: the model debuted as a 1997 model year vehicle. Ford had already shown the anniversary treatment back in the spring, but pricing was withheld at the time. It is now confirmed that the pack can only be ordered on the Expedition Platinum. It also mandates the Salt Crystal Gray interior and cannot be combined with the Platinum Ultimate, Stealth Appearance or Stealth Performance packages.

The 30th Anniversary spec bundles decorative and functional touches: 22-inch wheels, all-season tires, black exterior accents, special badging, an Ebony-finished grille, darkened headlamp bezels, a cargo organizer, first- and second-row floor liners, laminated rear side windows and a unique center console with the anniversary emblem. Three exterior colors are on the menu: Agate Black Metallic, Star White Metallic Tri-Coat and Blue Ember Metallic — the last of which was previously associated with the Mustang Dark Horse.
