Lincoln Navigator 2027: 40/20/40 third row, trim prices and what the option changes

Lincoln gives the 2027 Navigator Reserve a 40/20/40 PowerFold third row: the centre section drops on its own for skis and long loads. Seat count stays the same, with trim prices from $90,745 to $116,995.

Lincoln has added a 40/20/40 PowerFold third row with power operation to the Navigator Reserve for the 2027 model year. It does not add a single seat: the standard three-place bench already folds electrically, just in a 60/40 split. The new option is above all about carrying luggage more flexibly.

The centre section can now be dropped on its own, leaving the two outer seats free for passengers. That helps with skis or any other long load, which previously meant folding the wider half of the bench. Power recline is included, along with a sensor that stops the mechanism when it detects an obstruction. The controls sit in the cargo area.

The option is offered on the Reserve trim, which starts at $100,745 before destination. The entry-level Navigator Premiere is listed at $90,745 and the Black Label at $116,995. Lincoln does not quote a separate price for the 40/20/40 bench on the model page.

There are no technical changes. The Navigator keeps its 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 with 440 hp and 691 Nm, while the 2027 model year had already been announced to bring the return of rear-wheel drive across every trim. The SUV was also given new 24-inch wheels that are available only with a particular styling treatment.

Unlike large decorative wheels, a 40/20/40 third row delivers a measurable everyday benefit. The extra cost pays off for owners who regularly need to fill the rear seats and carry long items at the same time.
