Geely Galaxy Cruiser 700 2026: specs, electric range and off-road figures

Geely’s first Galaxy off-roader makes 830 kW from a tri-motor plug-in hybrid, clears 233 mm and wades 800 mm. A 47.14 kWh CATL pack covers 165 to 185 km on electricity.

The Geely Galaxy Cruiser 700 broke cover in China on 24 July 2026, and the claimed 830 kW turn it into a roughly 1113 hp off-roader — a figure normally reserved for hypercars. Yet the newcomer is not built for quick launches alone: ground clearance reaches 233 mm, wading depth is rated at 800 mm, and the driveline packs three electric motors, all-wheel drive and differential locks.

Five metres of body, angles of 30 and 31 degrees

The Cruiser 700 is the first proper off-roader in the Geely Galaxy family — before the premiere the car had already been spotted without camouflage as the Battleship 700. The five-seater measures 5085 mm long and 1999 mm wide, with a 2900 mm wheelbase. Approach and departure angles stand at 30 and 31 degrees respectively, while the rear carries a side-opening door and a full-size spare wheel. Plenty of mounting points are prepared for extra equipment, from a winch and underbody protection to a snorkel and a roof platform.

How far the Cruiser 700 goes on electricity alone

The powertrain is a plug-in hybrid rather than a pure EV. The tri-motor system delivers those same 830 kW and can shuffle torque between the axles. Geely claims a “crab walk” mode, a turn almost on the spot and the ability to keep moving after one tyre is damaged. A 47.14 kWh CATL battery covers 165 to 185 km of electric range depending on the version.

Inside: five screens and a fridge instead of a third row

The cabin holds five displays, physical keys for blind operation and an 18.5-litre fridge. Despite the five-metre body there is no third row — the priority is space for five people and a large boot.

When the off-roader will show up outside China

After the Chinese premiere the Cruiser 700 will be shown in Milan on 26 July, though that still does not confirm sales in the European Union. The company has only announced an overseas display of the model; markets, delivery timing and European certification remain unannounced. Geely has not named prices or the full trim list either.
