Chery Arrizo 8 Pro 2027: price, launch date and Falcon 500 driver-assist system

Chery will launch the 2027 Arrizo 8 Pro on the Chinese market on August 10. The main changes are in the electronics: the sedan gets a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8255 processor and the Falcon 500 suite with highway NOA and a route-memory function for city driving.

The current Arrizo 8 Pro, which was already shown at the Chengdu Auto Show, runs on the less powerful Snapdragon 8155 chip with basic L2+ driver aids. The new system extends automated route-following, lane changes, interchange navigation and parking scenarios, though the driver remains responsible for control.

The cabin keeps the 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and the 15.6-inch central touchscreen. Chery moved the gear selector to the steering column and reworked the center console layout. The body gets a larger grille with a dot-matrix pattern, while the profile and rear end change only slightly.

According to Yiche, the base 1.6T engine produces 147 kW, or about 200 hp, while the 2.0T makes 187 kW, or 254 hp. Both pair with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Chery's current official page still lists 145 kW for the existing 1.6T, so the final figures for all versions will only be confirmed once the price list is published.

Tenet A8, a localized sedan built in Russia, is the closest relative to the new model, offered with 1.6-liter and 2.0-liter engines. It uses a different set of powertrains, including an eight-speed automatic, so the Chinese Arrizo 8 Pro and the Russian A8 may end up noticeably different in electronics and transmission.
