Skoda Octavia 30 Jahre 2026: price, engines and equipment in Germany

Skoda has rolled out its second anniversary Octavia in just a few months. After the pricier Sportline 30 Jahre in May, the German lineup now gets a more affordable 30 Jahre version based on the Selection trim: four engines, prices starting at €38,480, and a claimed equipment discount of up to €3,900.

The new trim includes Matrix LED headlights, a 360-degree camera system, KESSY keyless entry, a power tailgate, heated front seats and windshield, navigation and a 13-inch touchscreen. The Combi wagon gets extra equipment on top, with a €700 surcharge over the sedan. Buyers can choose between a 1.5 TSI with 116 or 150 hp, a 204-hp 2.0 TSI, or a 150-hp 2.0 TDI.

The May version was different: official Skoda Deutschland offered the Sportline 30 Jahre with only three powertrains, starting at €42,830, with a maximum discount of €2,660. That car already came with a sport suspension lowered by 15 mm and 18-inch black wheels. So the August 30 Jahre effectively extends the anniversary lineup further down the price ladder.

At the same time, Skoda has confirmed a 7-speed DSG across the entire German Octavia range for model year 2027. But that shift can’t yet be extended to all of Europe. In the Netherlands, MY2027 listings still include a 115-hp Octavia 1.5 TSI with a six-speed manual, and Skoda’s official Dutch site keeps the base 1.5 TSI too. The Czech brand site currently lists several manual-equipped versions as well.

That’s especially notable against the backdrop of the Octavia PHEV’s planned return in 2027: the next shake-up of the lineup will be about expanding electrified powertrains, not about the gearbox.

So the fair conclusion for now: the manual gearbox is disappearing from the Octavia in Germany with MY2027, but the available data doesn’t confirm a Europe-wide phase-out.
