Suzuki Landy 2026 price and specs: 7-seat vs 8-seat hybrid

The Suzuki Landy can now seat eight without a price premium: the new HYBRID G 2WD grade costs 3,845,600 yen, exactly the same as the seven-seat front-wheel-drive version. There’s just one catch — an eight-seat Landy with E-Four all-wheel drive isn’t offered. The update itself actually landed earlier: Suzuki announced it on June 1, 2026, switching the Landy entirely to a hybrid powertrain and adding the eight-seat HYBRID G.

All grades also received revised aerodynamic styling, and the instrument display grew to 7 inches. Under the hood is a 1.8-liter gasoline engine working as part of the hybrid system. The front-wheel-drive Landy is rated at 23.6 km/l on the WLTC cycle — about 4.2 L/100 km. The seven-seat E-Four is rated at 21.9 km/l.

The all-wheel-drive model also gained a SNOW EXTRA mode for driving in snow. Dimensions are unchanged: 4,695 mm long, 1,730 mm wide and 1,845 mm tall, on a 2,850 mm wheelbase. Both sliding side doors are power-operated, and the third-row seats fold to the sides to free up cargo space.

The Landy has a curious pricing quirk. The current generation is sourced from Toyota under an OEM arrangement and is technically related to the Noah. The eight-seat Toyota Noah S-G Hybrid 2WD costs 3,700,400 yen — roughly 145,200 yen less than the Landy. The simpler Noah S-X, with the same eight-seat layout, is priced at 3,261,500 yen. Calling the whole difference a markup wouldn’t be accurate, though: the trim levels and standard equipment differ.

Suzuki, for its part, keeps the choice simple: seven or eight seats don’t change the price of the front-wheel-drive HYBRID G. The premium only kicks in when you step up to all-wheel drive — the seven-seat Landy E-Four costs 4,128,300 yen.
