Nissan Armada 2027 price, trims and Dark Armor package

The 2027 Nissan Armada — the North American counterpart to the Patrol — now starts at $64,290 before destination charges. That is $5,450, or 9.3%, above the minimum price of the 2026 model. The reason is not a routine price increase: Nissan has dropped the entry-level SV trim at $58,840, making the more expensive SL the new starting point.

A like-for-like trim comparison tells a very different story. The Armada SL 4x2 was $63,530 and is now priced at $64,290, an increase of only $760. The PRO-4X rose the most, from $74,300 to $78,990, up $4,690. Platinum Reserve gained $4,040, while NISMO rose by $1,160. The prices are confirmed by Nissan's U.S. pricing; the mandatory destination charge for 2027 is separate at $2,275.

The main visual addition is the $1,900 Dark Armor package, available on the SL. It brings black 20-inch wheels, a darkened grille, lower bumper trim, roof rails, window trim and badges. Inside, it adds black upholstery, darker trim elements and a panoramic roof. The mechanical package is unchanged: regular Armada versions keep a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 rated at 425 hp, while the NISMO makes 460 hp.

This is the same Y63 generation for which Kuhl is already preparing two contrasting projects — one road-focused and one off-road. This summer, the Armada was also among the highest-rated full-size SUVs in Consumer Reports.
