Ford Bronco Sport Badlands 2027: equipment changes and price

The Ford Bronco Sport Badlands remains the most off-road-focused trim in the lineup, but for the 2027 model year buyers will have to pay extra for some familiar comfort features. The standard driver’s seat is now manually adjustable in six ways instead of the previous eight-way power seat, while dual-zone climate control and the auto-dimming interior mirror are no longer standard.

Those features were previously included on Badlands. Ford’s 2026 model-year order guide listed an eight-way power driver’s seat, dual-zone DEATC, adjustable liftgate floodlights, rubberized second-row seatback protection, under-seat storage and an auto-dimming mirror as standard equipment.

For 2027, the power seat, dual-zone climate control, auto-dimming mirror and illuminated vanity mirrors have moved to the Badlands Premium Package. The adjustable liftgate lights now require the Camping Package, while the protective rear seatback panels are part of the Interior Protection Package. The under-seat storage compartment has been deleted entirely and can no longer be ordered separately.

The mechanical core of Badlands is not part of these cuts: the trim retains its off-road positioning, while the changes mainly affect comfort and practicality. Available pricing data puts the 2027 Ford Bronco Sport Badlands at $36,760 before destination, or $38,755 including the mandatory $1,995 destination charge. For comparison, Badlands entered the 2026 model year at $42,260 including destination.

That makes option content more important when shopping for a US-market vehicle. On a 2027 model, buyers should check not only the Badlands badge but also whether the Premium, Camping and Interior Protection packages are fitted, because two Badlands vehicles from different model years can now differ noticeably in equipment.
