The 2026 Chevrolet Blazer arrives with a tidy round of updates: a streamlined trim lineup, more standard safety tech, tweaks to powertrain availability, and a refreshed paint palette. Nothing radical, but enough to sharpen the Blazer’s proposition for the new model year.Since the 2022 model year, a black roof has been an extra-cost accent on internal-combustion LT and RS versions. For 2026, GM makes that contrast roof standard on the Blazer RS, a small change that gives the sportiest trim a more defined identity right out of the box.The Premier trim bows out, leaving three versions: 2LT, 3LT, and RS. The 2LT now includes the Driver Confidence Package as standard equipment; previously, that bundle cost $690. Folding it in cleans up the options sheet and adds value where most shoppers start their build. There’s a shift under the hood for the RS as well. The trim now comes with a 2.0-liter turbocharged I4 LSY rated at 228 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque, while the 3.6-liter V6 LGX (308 horsepower and 370 Nm) moves to the options list. For context, the 2025 RS included the V6 by default. The change points the RS toward a more modern baseline, while still keeping the V6 available for drivers who want that extra punch and character.
