BMW has unveiled the refreshed 2026 i4 M60 fastback, replacing the outgoing M50. The dual‑motor setup now delivers 510 hp in standard driving and up to 593 hp in sport settings—57 hp more than before. The 0–100 km/h sprint takes just 3.6 seconds, putting the i4 M60 among the quickest BMW EVs and setting a decidedly more urgent performance tone. It’s not just about speed. Range climbs as well: on 19-inch wheels it increases by 18 km to 445 km, and on 20-inch wheels by 8 km to 371 km. U.S. production starts in November, with prices from $71,875, and includes two years of Electrify America charging (up to 1,000 kWh).The base i4 eDrive40 also gets an update: thanks to silicon carbide (SiC) semiconductors, range rises to 333 miles on 18-inch wheels and to 307 miles on 19-inch wheels. Pricing starts at $59,075.New options round out the lineup—glass controls, a Shadowline package with black mirrors and M Sport brakes, plus the Drive Recorder within the Parking Assistant Professional suite. Subtle additions, yet they sharpen both look and everyday usability.Looking ahead, the i4 is expected to coexist with a new i3 sedan on the Neue Klasse platform before the current model bows out.
