Ford Maverick is already on sale in Brazil, and now the company is broadening the lineup with a hybrid all-wheel-drive variant dubbed Hybrid AWD. Given the model’s momentum in the market, the addition looks like a timely step.

The new Ford Maverick Hybrid AWD pairs a 2.5-liter gasoline engine with an electric motor for a combined 194 hp. The setup is designed to balance everyday performance with fuel savings, a mix that should suit both city use and longer trips.

In terms of equipment, the Hybrid AWD leans into a more upscale specification. The cabin features a high-quality Bang & Olufsen (B&O) audio system, an expansive panoramic roof that opens up the interior, and a large infotainment display with an intuitive interface for managing vehicle functions. These touches give the compact pickup a distinctly polished feel without overcomplicating the user experience.

In Brazil, the Ford Maverick Hybrid AWD starts at 239,900 Brazilian reals, or roughly 45,478 US dollars. Sales of the entire Maverick range in the country have doubled compared with the previous year, a sign that demand is strong—an encouraging backdrop for the new hybrid AWD variant.
