Opel has broadened the capabilities of the compact Combo Electric van through a collaboration with bott. Aimed at trade and service operators, the model now offers a reinforced load-securing system engineered for long-term use in demanding conditions. The update brings a moisture-resistant 12 mm plywood floor with bott anti-slip coating and aluminum edge protection. Integrated T-slot mounts make it easy to add further modules, including the bott vario3 storage system. The cargo bay walls are finished with 4 mm vario protect-light panels made from recyclable polypropylene. The material resists impacts and chemical exposure and is easy to clean. The kit also includes straps, retainers, and holders to keep equipment secure in transit.Weighing around 30 kg, the system barely eats into payload: Combo Electric offers up to 4.4 cubic meters of load space and up to 750 kg of payload. It comes across as a well-judged balance of durability and weight—exactly the kind of spec that wins over businesses choosing a compact van for mobile service or deliveries, especially since the conversion is available ex-factory or through official dealers.
