Brabus keeps pushing the envelope for hot Mercedes models, rolling out a fresh Brabus 700 package for the current AMG E 53. With Mercedes yet to offer an E 63 in this generation, the tuner steps in to plug the gap and makes the E 53 quicker than the previous E 63.

At the heart of it is the PowerXtra B53-700 module, lifting output to 700 hp and torque to 850 Nm. The sedan sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds, or 3.7 seconds for the wagon. Top speed remains limited to 250 km/h, or 280 km/h with the AMG Driver's Package. By comparison, a standard E 53 delivers up to 604 hp in Race Start mode and reaches 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds.

Beyond the powertrain, Brabus offers a substantial styling suite: carbon appliqués for the grille, fender extensions, a new front spoiler, diffuser, rear wing, and an adjustable sports suspension. The brand's wheels with floating 'B' center caps are also on the list.

Inside, you can spec aluminum or carbon pedal covers, illuminated sills, and velour floor mats. Pricing for the Brabus package is traditionally provided on request, and it’s clear the finished build will come in well above the base AMG E 53, which starts at $89,600.

All told, the Brabus 700 makes a compelling case for anyone seeking one of the standout GT sedans, blending E-Class comfort with performance that brushes up against supercar territory.
