At the 2025 Guangzhou Auto Show, Leapmotor unveiled the A10, a new compact electric crossover and the first model in the brand’s A series. Positioned against the Geely Stellar and BYD Yuan UP, the A10 is already drawing attention: blind pre-orders are open, with sales slated for the first half of 2026.The A10 wears a clean, contemporary look. The nose follows EV conventions with a closed panel in place of a grille and slim LED headlights that sketch a friendly smile. The technological focal point is a roof-mounted lidar set to underpin higher-level driver-assistance functions. In profile, it stays true to classic compact SUV proportions, while hidden pillars and a darkened midsection create a floating-roof effect. At the rear, horizontal LED taillights carry Leapmotor’s signature pattern. Show-floor photos indicate new colors, including a rich Seaweed Green and a brown shade called Acorn Brown. There’s a clear nod to everyday usability in the details: semi-recessed mechanical door handles, black wheel-arch extensions, and sporty wheel designs. The charging port sits on the front left fender.Technical targets are preliminary for now. The brand points to an estimated range around 500 km, and says the battery can charge from 30 to 80 percent in 16 minutes thanks to fast-charging capability and oil cooling for the electric drive. Full specifications will be disclosed closer to launch. With the A10, Leapmotor broadens its reach, and the package comes across as well-judged for city life: tech-forward where it counts, practical in the small touches, and aimed squarely at the growing field of affordable urban electric crossovers.
