Chery sold 242,736 vehicles in August, 129,472 of which were exported—53.3% of the monthly total. Year over year, those figures rose by 14.6% and 32.3%, respectively. The company also set a new monthly export record; for the fourth straight month this year, exports topped 100,000 units. From January through August, Chery delivered a cumulative 1,727,299 vehicles, a 14.5% increase versus a year earlier. Under the iCar badge, 4,820 vehicles were sold in August, bringing its 2025 total to 55,896—up 43.9% year on year—which makes iCar the fastest-growing brand within Chery Group.
