Toyota was named the leader in hybrid reliability in a Warranty Solutions Group study that analyzed thousands of warranty claims over the past 12 months. The Corolla Hybrid, Yaris Hybrid, and RAV4 Hybrid delivered the strongest results. The Corolla Hybrid posted the lowest claim rate at 1.32%, with an average repair bill of £79.95 (8,730 rubles). The Yaris Hybrid recorded 1.69% and £462.05 (50,450 rubles), while the RAV4 Hybrid showed the same claim frequency but with a higher repair cost of about £750 (81,890 rubles at the current exchange rate). Taken together, these figures show few unwelcome surprises for Toyota hybrid owners, even if the RAV4’s typical invoice sits above the other two.For comparison, the least reliable models were the Range Rover and BMW X5, at 18.65% and 13.21% respectively. Average repair spending for these models exceeded £1,100 (120,000 rubles). Across hybrids, common issues included battery faults (3.89% of claims), cooling pumps, and tailgate struts, while less frequent but costlier failures involved generators and infotainment systems. The gap in both frequency and cost makes the reliability advantage easy to feel in everyday ownership.
