Kia has released the first teaser for the next-generation Seltos, with the premiere set for December 10. Judging by the clip, the crossover is getting the most extensive update in the model’s history: the design has been completely reworked, and the styling now aligns more closely with the brand’s latest global flagships—an approach that visibly benefits the Seltos.

As the auto outlet 32CARS.RU notes, the front end adopts a new take on the Tiger Nose. A wide grille with a chrome surround is visually tied to vertical LED daytime running lights. The main headlights have moved to the outer edges of the grille and feature several LED elements—horizontal, vertical, and C-shaped. This arrangement makes the crossover look wider and distinctly more upscale.

Kia is also highlighting light choreography: when unlocked, the Seltos performs a welcome animation shown in the teaser. Another addition is a panoramic roof, previously unavailable on the model. The brand’s logo is positioned above the grille, emphasizing the Seltos’s new face.

Technical specifications remain undisclosed, but the scope of the changes points to a thorough modernization. The new Seltos is set to strengthen Kia’s position in the compact SUV segment and deliver a higher level of style and technology. The premiere is scheduled for December 10.
