Explore Quality Coachworks' Cadillac Escalade ESV conversion: a VIP mobile office with captain's chairs, 48-inch TV, starry lighting, and extra soundproofing

California-based Quality Coachworks has released a video showcasing its CEO conversion of the Cadillac Escalade ESV—an option for those who want not just a large luxury SUV, but a private space on the level of a meeting room and lounge. The base remains a production Escalade, yet the rear cabin is completely reimagined: the four-seat layout puts the spotlight on isolation from the outside world.

The centerpiece is a pair of sizable captain’s chairs with long-trip amenities—adjustable seating with heating, ventilation, and massage.

Lighting and media are managed via touch panels for rear passengers, while aircraft-style folding tables provide a surface for a laptop, documents, or a quick bite. In effect, it’s a mobile office where you can hold a meeting or head to the airport without feeling the miles.

The entertainment setup is substantial as well: a 48-inch TV is integrated into the partition between the driver and rear cabin, and certain configurations add extra screens. HDMI and USB ports handle connectivity, while an upgraded audio system and expanded sound insulation turn the space into a quiet cocoon that makes conversation and work easier.

The emphasis is on atmosphere: an Alcantara headliner with a starry-sky effect, hand-finished wood, a bar section, plus practical touches like an umbrella holder and a built-in refrigerator. From the outside, the raised roof gives the game away—it boosts headroom and, visually, makes the rear a touch more coach-like, in the best sense.

Crucially, this isn’t about power. Mechanically, the Escalade stays stock, with the standard 6.2-liter V8 and GM’s T1 platform. It’s the kind of build that prioritizes hush, privacy, and real working comfort over straight-line speed.
