Chinese EV maker Avatr will roll out updated versions of its 06, 07, and 12 models equipped with CATL’s new «Xiaoyao» hybrid-boost battery packs in the coming months. The first to launch will be the Avatr 06 with a 45 kWh pack, debuting at the Chengdu Auto Show at the end of August.

In late September, the Avatr 07 will follow with a 52 kWh battery, arriving alongside its 2025 model year update. October will bring the flagship Avatr 12, also with a 52 kWh pack and an added rear-facing LiDAR sensor for enhanced driver assistance.

Meanwhile, Avatr is clearing inventory of current versions. The existing 07 is offered with a ¥15,000 cash discount and ¥4,000 insurance incentive on select units, while the 12 comes with a ¥10,000 discount and the same insurance offer. From August 18, some configurations will no longer be available in the Avatr app due to parts supply limits.
