The revived Spanish brand EBRO closed out 2025 with 12,459 registered vehicles, marking its first entry into Spain's top 25 best-selling brands. The S700 crossover played a key role in this success, serving as the flagship of the refreshed lineup. Against this backdrop, the company has unveiled its 2026 development plan, which includes updates to current models and the launch of an entirely new SUV.

Facelift for EBRO S700 and S800

The S700 and S800 crossovers, which essentially kicked off the brand's comeback, will receive a comprehensive facelift in 2026. Updates will cover exterior design, features, and technical aspects. Despite being on the market for only about a year, EBRO has decided to accelerate the refresh in response to fierce competition in the SUV segment.

A key highlight will be the introduction of an EBRO S700 version with a self-charging hybrid powertrain. This model will be based on a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine paired with an electric motor, positioning it to compete with rivals like the Renault Austral and MG HS.

Technical Refinements for EBRO S400

The smaller EBRO S400 crossover, which competes in the mass-market B-SUV segment, won't get a facelift but will undergo significant technical upgrades. In 2026, the model will see improvements to its powertrain, including new batteries and enhanced overall efficiency. EBRO aims to address weaknesses and strengthen the S400's position in one of the most competitive classes.

New EBRO SUV Arriving Late 2026

The year will wrap up with the debut of an all-new model. Preliminary information suggests it will be called the EBRO S500 or S600, though the final name hasn't been confirmed yet. This new SUV will slot between the S400 and S700, with a length of around 4.4 meters. This move will help the brand fill another niche in its lineup and expand its offerings in the compact and midsize crossover segments.
