Chevrolet is preparing a limited Stars & Steel series to commemorate the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence. Only 250 vehicles will be produced, and the key question about the price of the anniversary package has now been revealed through a dealer leak and GM's ordering system.

What's included in the Stars & Steel series

The package is available for all Corvette C8 models, from the Stingray to the ZR1X, but only when selecting the top 3LT or 3LZ trim. Customers can choose from two color schemes: either Arctic White with a Santorini Blue interior and silver flag-themed graphic elements, or Black with an Adrenaline Red interior and a black tonal stripe.

Additional features include black wheels, red brake calipers, red seatbelts, unique floor mats, sill plates, and an individual plaque with the car's serial number.

How much the package costs

According to corvetteblogger.com and insider Rick Conti, the RPO USA option is priced at $9,995. This is nearly double the cost of the 70th Anniversary package, which was $5,995 plus $995 for an additional stripe. In practice, this means Chevrolet is once again leveraging exclusivity as a pricing strategy, and doing so more aggressively than before.

Why the collection matters for GM

The Stars & Steel series creates a unified visual identity for the Corvette, Silverado EV, Silverado, Silverado HD, and Colorado—a lineup designed to highlight the country's 250th anniversary. Adding to the emphasis is a unique Corvette ZR1X, which will be auctioned at Barrett-Jackson to underscore the collection's status.
