The updated S-Class features a new version of Digital Light that combines record brightness, intelligent control, and reduced energy consumption.Micro-LEDs turn headlights into a high-precision toolEach headlight in the new S-Class contains 25,000 micro-LEDs managed by a high-performance chip. This has expanded the illuminated area by about 40 percent and improved light distribution in turns for greater clarity. The maximum range reaches around 605 meters, roughly the length of six football fields, with the light shaped precisely to avoid dazzling oncoming traffic.Digital light adapts to the road and driving conditionsThe system actively uses camera and navigation data to dynamically control high beams and highlight the exact trajectory the car is following.
