For the 2026 model year, Cadillac refreshes the Optiq EV’s lineup, introducing a new rear-wheel-drive base model and a more potent all-wheel-drive variant.

The base 2026 Optiq EV adopts rear-wheel drive with a single motor now rated at 315 horsepower. On a full charge, this version is estimated to cover up to 300 miles, a figure that underscores its role as the efficiency play in the range.

A step up brings the all-wheel-drive Optiq EV with dual motors delivering a combined 440 horsepower. From a full battery, Cadillac cites roughly 280 miles of range. The switch to AWD adds $3,500 over the base model—an upcharge that seems reasonable given the extra traction and noticeable bump in performance.

Crowning the lineup is the Optiq-V, fitted with two motors for a total of 519 horsepower. This high-output configuration is quoted at about 275 miles per charge and is offered exclusively with all-wheel drive. The focus here is clearly on pace and composure, with only a modest trade-off in range.

Pricing for the Optiq EV starts at $52,395 for the entry configuration, with all-wheel drive available for an additional $3,500. The Optiq-V comes standard with AWD and is priced individually based on specification, suggesting a build-to-taste approach for buyers chasing the top-tier setup.
