Dacia has unveiled an unusual newcomer in Romania: the Duster Pickup, derived from the brand’s popular crossover. The key change is at the back. Instead of a luggage bay and a fifth door, it gets a compact cargo bed measuring 1050 by 1000 mm, rated to carry up to 430 kg. With four tie-down points and a fold-down tailgate, it’s clearly tuned for everyday jobs and life off the paved roads.

The project was developed together with local coachbuilder Romturingia, which kept structural changes to a minimum. Inside, the pickup introduces split rear seats with an armrest — a setup not previously offered on the Duster.

The model will be sold only in Romania and offered in three trims: Expression, Extreme, and Journey. Buyers can choose between a 140-hp hybrid and a 130-hp mild-hybrid 4x4. Under the skin, the pickup is no different from the standard Duster.

Prices start at €25,983 (around 2.5 million rubles), well above the base crossover’s €17,200 (1.7 million rubles). It even surpasses the top-spec Duster Extreme Hybrid 140 at €23,950 (almost 2.34 million rubles), making the Duster Pickup the costliest version of the model. That premium positions it as a niche choice for those who value a small, easy-to-load bed while keeping the familiar Duster foundations.
