DR 6 compact SUV launched in Spain with rich equipment

The Italian brand DR Automobiles is expanding its presence in Spain and launching the new DR 6 on the market. This compact SUV is positioned as a direct competitor to the EBRO S700 and MG models, betting on rich equipment and a competitive price.

The Spanish version is based on the Changan CS55 Plus platform, while the Italian DR 6 uses the Chery Tiggo 7 as its foundation. In Spain, the model is offered in a single, fully-equipped trim level following an "all-inclusive" strategy. Standard features include 20-inch wheels, fully LED lighting, a digital instrument panel, a 12.3-inch multimedia screen, a 360-degree camera, and an extended set of driver assistance systems.

The base version comes with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine producing 188 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed DCT automated manual transmission and front-wheel drive. Pricing starts at €28,900.

Additionally, a GLP version with 178 horsepower is available, which receives an ECO environmental label. This is important for cities with emission restrictions. Its price starts at €30,400.

Given its price and equipment, the DR 6 intensifies competition in the C-SUV segment, where factors like power, features, and operational advantages become decisive alongside brand reputation.
