Chevrolet is expanding its Stars & Steel anniversary series for the 2026 Silverado 1500. Following the limited Special Edition based on the RST with a 6.2-liter V8, the company has introduced a more affordable Stars & Steel Appearance package.The new package (RPO RGE) is available for Custom and RST trims and includes exclusive graphics (RPO SHT) that mirror the special edition's design. It is offered exclusively for Crew Cab bodies and pairs with only two colors: Summit White and Black. White pickups feature satin black stripes, while black models get silver stripes.The package is compatible only with the standard tailgate (no Multi-Flex). For the RST version, a Jet Black interior is mandatory. There are no powertrain restrictions: the RST can be ordered with a 2.7-liter TurboMax, 5.3-liter V8, 6.2-liter V8, or a Duramax 3.0-liter diesel, while the Custom is offered exclusively with the 2.7-liter TurboMax.Chevrolet positions this package as an affordable way to highlight patriotic styling without buying the pricier Special Edition, which comes with 22-inch wheels, Brembo brakes, and an expanded set of options.
