BMW has introduced a new version of its iX2 electric crossover called the Pure Edition. This model comes with a more affordable starting price of 47,906 euros, down from 51,839 euros for the base version.Despite the lower price, the Pure Edition actually offers richer standard equipment. It includes 18-inch alloy wheels, sport seats, tinted windows, and the Premium package. This package features adaptive LED headlights, folding mirrors, auto-dimming, and wireless charging—items that typically cost an extra 1,495 euros.Based on the iX1, the iX2 Pure Edition has a more elongated coupe-SUV body and a slightly larger trunk. However, option choices are limited; for example, the M Sport package is not available.Technically, this version is consistent: it has front-wheel drive and a 204-horsepower electric motor. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.6 seconds. The 65.2 kWh battery provides a range of up to 513 km according to WLTP standards, and fast charging is supported up to 130 kW.In the competitive electric crossover segment, such offerings are becoming part of brand strategies to deliver new 2026 models with better value and equipment.
