Japanese tuner Liberty Walk has unveiled its first Nissan GT-R Final Edition project, serving as a farewell of sorts to the legendary R35 generation. The car has already found an owner, underlining the enduring appeal of this cult model even after the end of its production run.Unlike many tuning builds, Liberty Walk has left the mechanical side untouched. Under the hood remains the standard 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6, which in Nismo form produces around 600 hp. The focus here is squarely on styling. The car receives the brand’s signature widebody kit with flared arches, an aggressive front splitter, new side skirts and a massive rear wing. The look is completed by a reworked ventilated hood, a diffuser and four round exhaust tips. The body is finished in gloss black with no extra graphics, emphasizing a restrained and clean design. A lowered suspension and wide wheels create a silhouette that feels as close as possible to a track car.Liberty Walk traditionally puts the emphasis on visual impact and proportions rather than more power, leaving mechanical upgrades to other tuning houses. This example is the first in the Final Edition series and has already been sold, reinforcing the GT-R’s status as an icon. Even with production over, demand for projects like this remains strong.
