iSeeCars data shows the Volkswagen ID.4 lost 13.2% of its value year over year, topping a list of used cars aged one to five years with the sharpest price declines.

New data from iSeeCars shows that among used cars aged from one to five years that lost value the fastest in the first quarter of 2026 compared with the same period a year earlier, the Volkswagen ID.4 ranked first after shedding 13.2% of its value over the past year.The next models on the list were the Audi A5 Sportback (-10.4%), Genesis GV80 (-10.1%) and hybrid Audi Q5 (-10%). The Lincoln Corsair placed fifth among the fastest-depreciating used cars aged one to five years. The hybrid version of the Corsair lost 9.8% of its original value over the year.The iSeeCars study covered more than 6.7 million used vehicles aged from one to five years, sold in the first quarters of 2025 and 2026, to identify changes in market share, average market price and time on market. The study found that used cars overall are selling more slowly than a year earlier: the average time spent on a dealer lot rose by 45.5%.
