Geely EX2 UK Price 2026: Pro, Max and Ultra Trims, Range and Specs

The Geely EX2 starts UK sales at £20,990, just £505 below the Renault 5. Here’s why the £23,490 Max trim makes more sense.

Geely is launching UK sales of the electric EX2 at a starting price of £20,990. The entry-level Pro trim is built with the city in mind: a 35 kWh battery delivers 249 km WLTP range, while the rear-mounted electric motor produces 80 hp. Deliveries are due to begin in August 2026.

The key price benchmark is the Renault 5. After the UK government grant, the French EV starts at £21,495 — just £505 more than the EX2 Pro — but offers 120 hp, a 40 kWh battery and 309 km WLTP range. At that price gap, the base Geely wins on cost but gives up 60 km of official range.

The EX2 Max looks more compelling at £23,490. The £2,500 premium brings a 47 kWh battery, 114 hp and 344 km of range. The Ultra trim at £25,490 keeps the same hardware while adding a 360-degree camera, heated front seats and steering wheel, plus ambient lighting.

Practicality is another EX2 selling point. Geely claims a 375-litre rear boot, a 70-litre front trunk and 36 storage compartments inside the cabin. Equipment includes a 14.6-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and a full suite of driver-assistance systems. UK cars come with an eight-year or 125,000-mile warranty, covering the traction battery.

The model has already proven its demand in China: Geely sold 465,775 units there in 2025 under the local name Xingyuan. It already reached Europe earlier under the E2 badge, and now it has arrived in Britain too. The EX2 remains outside the official lineup in Russia.

Given the price and range, the EX2 Max looks like the stronger pick over the base version: the premium runs about 12%, while range grows by nearly 24%.
