Hennessey upgraded the Ram 1500 RHO to 700 hp with a $70K package. Could this be the real TRX successor?

Hennessey Performance has unveiled its latest creation based on the new Ram 1500 RHO — the Mammoth 700 package. While fans are still waiting for Stellantis to revive the legendary TRX, the Texas tuner has taken matters into its own hands.

The build starts with the 3.0-liter Hurricane High Output twin-turbo engine. Thanks to software tuning, increased boost pressure, and a stainless-steel exhaust system, the truck now delivers around 700 hp — nearly identical to the outgoing TRX.

The upgrades extend beyond the powertrain. The Mammoth 700 comes with 20-inch alloy wheels, 37-inch off-road tires, a 3-inch lift kit, custom Hennessey bumpers with LED lighting, enhanced brakes, and a reinforced skid plate. The interior changes are minimal, limited to Hennessey-branded all-weather mats.

The package adds about $70,000 to the price of a 2026 Ram 1500 RHO, offering customers a TRX-level truck with exclusive styling. Meanwhile, Stellantis has yet to confirm if the TRX will return to rival Ford’s Raptor R.
