At the 2025 Chengdu Auto Show, the plug-in hybrid pickup JAC Hunter PHEV made its debut. Sales have already started with seven trims priced from 159,800 to 319,800 yuan (1.8–3.6 million rubles at the current exchange rate).The truck wears a massive body shaped by a “national brutalism” design theme, with matrix LED headlights and a signature Blue Expanse paint. The 1.81-meter bed is rated to carry up to 715 kg. Inside, soft-touch materials set the tone, complemented by a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.4-inch J-Link 3.0 infotainment screen. Options include 64-color ambient lighting, power-adjustable and heated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and an L2 driver-assistance suite. The cabin aims for comfort without losing its practical edge, which should resonate with buyers who spend long hours behind the wheel.The powertrain is built on the H-Power platform: a 2.0T engine works with two electric motors and a new 4DHT transmission.
